  I consider this an unethical bait and switch.
 No only do you span a list with out bothering to observe the established
conventions, you use this span to collect personal info to pump up your
site.  If you really think this information is useful to the community you
should post it without restriction.  If we find the site useful then we
will register by choice.  I am sure that many members of the ejb-interest
list community like and use the PowerTier product but this sort of cheap
marketing gimmick substantially erodes my goodwill.
