Do you have
Enterprise JavaBeans from O'Reilly, otherwise get it at amazon.

It's a good book that will get you started.

P.S. You don't have to run WebLogic on top of a webserver. For initial development you 
might as well use the
  HTTP server that is integrated in WebLogic.
