Hi, I am quite surprised by the way the server I am using is implementing finder methods for CMP entities. When I invoke a finder method of my entity home, several methods of my entity bean are invoked: 1. setEntityContext() 2. ejbLoad() 3. ejbPassivate() So I have a few questions... 1) I did not find much in the spec... It assumes for the invocation of setEntityContext since the pool was empty when invoked my finder. But figure 27 in 9.5.7 does not give more details. My first question is: is the invocation of ejbLoad and ejbPassivate fully compliant with the spec when a finder is invoked? 2)Do you think it is normal that ejbLoad and ejbPassivate are called whereas ejbActivate has not been invoked so far? As for me, I thought figure 23 in 9.1.4 was rather clear...
