Forget connecting to lagacy systems and assume starting from scratch. Most
seem to talk about bringing older systems to the web. I don't need that, i'm
thinking of new site with fresh databases.
Has anyone on this list built or is building a large web site (perhaps,
E-commerce, Personalisation centered) using purly Java Enterprise tools.
I am thinking along the lines of.
Lots and lots of content in a RDB or OO DB, using EJB's(session + entity) +
JNDI, at the middle layer and then JSP, servlets at the frontend and perhaps
a Java app for back door admin.
What are your experiences, recommendations and perhaps some links to working
web sites please.
