FYI

With the release of the source code for the j2ee reference
implementation I noticed that a copy of a linux compiled libioser12.so
is being shipped with the source code zip file. I decided to try it out
on RedHat 6.0 with the Sun/Inprise jdk1.2.2 rc1 and it seems to work
fine. In fact I was able to deploy and successfully test my application
that was originally built under NT in about five minutes. The performance
of the GUI deploy tool and the server seemed noticably faster when
running under linux. The only problem I noticed was when I tried to
verify my app with the verfy tool. I seems that it could not find a
utility jar file that I have in the ear file and thus some of the tests
failed.
