I'm wondering if there are any tools/components in existence or in the works
for making EJB client applications easier to develop? I'm finding it
difficult to get high-performance applications when having to make
constant calls across the wire to work with my objects. At the same
time, if I want the client to be able to work with the data locally for
a user session, I end up writing a lot of plumbing on my own,
duplicating business rules in local objects, etc. Is there anything out
there that provides this sort of thing for EJB clients, or is everyone
getting at their EJBs via web application servers?

Thanks.

Tom
