I have installed (and tested) both eval & production
Websphere 3.02. There were minor differences in the
software install menu at the point where you choose
which components to install - these affected how you
installed the IBM HTTP server (based on Apache). I didn't
see any functional differences.

As I've never tried the eval copy I don't know what the difference is, if
any, aside from that the licensed copy has no time bomb built in.

I'm curious, though. Are there any features that you feel are missing from
WAS, and if so, which ones?
