Hi all.
I just wanted to make it clear that I was not intending a slight against any
vendor's product with respect to distributed, replicated state. I work for
Oracle, and in our 8.i EJB server, we don't handle singletons, and we certainly
don't attempt (yet) to handle distributed, replicated Java state (leaving this
problem for the Database Server, naturally).
I'm just naturally cynical with respect to distributed state, and play the
grumpy old codger not only on TV, but in real life.
Sorry for any implied or perceived attacks on any vendor's fine products out
there.

What are we going to do tonight, Brain?
Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.
