Have you considered Bluestone Sapphire? We are also in the process of evaluating
Application servers. We evaluated Bluestone Sapphire, and felt that it is suited
for the NT environment, not to say that the others you are considering are not!
Platform is just one thing, other criteria to consider is J2EE compliance,
scalability, Load Balancing etc. Of course what weights you place to these
criteria depends upon how important these are for your organization.

There is no reason and no way that you should make a rushed decision regarding
your application server platform. There are so many more questions which you
need
to ask yourself to determine which platform is the most appropriate. As far as
"compatability"
goes, they're both compatible. You really should examine more in-depth what you
want
to accomplish and what is most important to you before you determine the end
solution.
Making a decision without properly knowing requirements is bad.

Hi all,
I need help in deciding the best compatible application server for our
existing platform.
Existing Platform:
Windows NT 4.0,
IIS web server,
MS SQl Server 7.0.
I have got two choices for this: Weblogic & Websphere.
Which one is the best choice for this existing platform?
<Note:It shouldn't create problem to other running application.>
It's very urgent.Please reply ASAP.
