Robert-
I have written a pattern language of some 60 patterns (and growing) on
designing large-scale distributed J2EE applications (with GemStone/J, but
the vast majority of the patterns are container-independent). Our plans for
publishing this pattern language begin with the "developer's guide" CD,
followed by an email subscription service, and within a month or so, they
will be served by a wiki server running in our domain. See
http://www.gemstone.com to request the CD, etc. BTW, this pattern language
formed the basis for the presentation used in the online seminar we gave
last quarter (http://www.netseminar.com/index.cgi?sem_num=198). As an
example, one of the patterns in the language is published on Ward
Cunnningham's Portland Pattern Repository (a.k.a. the Wiki Web) at
http://www.c2.com/cgi/wiki?DomainObjectStateHolder.
