It all depends on the ejb container you have chosen. The deployment tool
needs to be able to plug into it. Debugging of ejbs comes down mostly to
have a good ide debugger. JBuilder 3.5 for Solaris has great debuger
support. How is deployment a bigger issue than some other factors,
especially when you say this is a large enterprise application. When you
talk about deployment could you also be refering to distributed management.
With this we can start with the basic ejb container console (though some are
better than others) and when you need to get really serious try using
something like AppCenter 4.0.
