Hi All,
I would just like to get a feeling for how you manage your J2EE
applications. the main points of focus being:
How do you handle dependencies outside the application server?
(That is, if your ejb's rely on existing systems or multiple
appservers, is the availability of these systems managed? e.g. CORBA
servers, other Main Frame connections)
How do you handle your Fault-tolerance, and failover? (Do you leave it up
to the appserver vendor, or do you define it yourself and customize it to
your environment needs)
Dynamic Load Balancing - What factor causes more servers, services (e.g.
ejb containers ) to be started? or is this again left up to the appserver,
Do you model your system deployment using Rose diagrams or some other
modelling tools.?
Thanks for you input,
Robert
