2 solutions:
* If clients should be isolated from each other you could implement it
as a State*ful* sessionbean.
* You can use a EJB-server that allows you to have a "pool" of only 1
instance (effectively making it a singleton). EJBoss 2.0 will have
support for this (which is not yet available for some time though)
