IAS appears to be pure java apart from a small launcher executable that kicks the JVM
off with all
the right parameters. It seems like this is interfering with the ObjectStore
libraries. As far as
ObjectStore goes, to use it from Java, you cannot avoid at some point making OSJI
calls - and these
call into native libraries through JNI.
