Subject: Help!!

Hi,
Can anyone help me out.
I'm using TopLink for Weblogic.
I'm using a Entity bean called EducationInfo which contains a Vector of Objects of Type Degree. The fields of the Degree Class are mapped to the database (Direct mapping). The entity bean also has fields that are mapped to the database.(Direct mapping).

I'm getting two problems...
1. When i try to call the ejbCreate method (im passing the Vector and other variables in it).. i am getting a hashCode error.. saying that the Degree object in the Vector is not from the current Session.

2. If i dont pass the Vector and i just call the ejbCreate method and set the variables that have direct mappings to the database... the coressponding fields in the database are not being updated.

Is it something related to the Cache which TopLink uses to increase efficiency?

Please Help!!

Thanks
Vinod
