Hi Erik, you seem to know a lot about Forte. I've just started using it so cannot share you enthusiasm yet. I have the following problem: My connection to the ISP is via an Eicon ISDN Server card? I am using NT40 workstations which are connected to an NT40 Server via Proxy server. The problem is that everytime I start Forte the system also connects to the ISP. Clearly this is not desirable. I was advised by someone from the KVM-INTEREST Forum that "it's auto-checker looking for a new version. It's in the preferences." and to "Just disable it." Unfortunately I'm having trouble doing just that. In the Global Options there doesn't seem to be anywhere to disable it just change the reminder frequency. In the Help/Update Centre I can check the "Install manually downloaded modules" but on the next page I'm asked to include the modules. If I enter C:\forte4\modules\modules on the next page it's asking me for Available modules, etc. But there aren't any so I can't continue. What to do, where to look? Very much appreciate your assistance on this one. Brdgs John > -----Original Message----- > From: Erik Huddleston [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Freitag, 28.
