If you can get access to MSSQL 7.0, the Data Transformation Services (DTS)
can be quick and helpful sometimes, allowing you to specify ODBC and other
datasources and column/datatype mappings. You can design GUI data pumps and
tasks and also using VBScript for more complex mappings if needed. I've had
both great success (very quick and painless) and dismal failure (back to
some other method) depending on different data sources and complexity etc.
