Hi
Well, the Oracle pages say the following about 4.0.8
OAS 4.0.8 has full support for the EJB 1.0 standard. Building on the experiences of
implementing the pre-1.0 specification of EJB, the new EJB runtime supports session
beans, integrates with the naming and transaction services of OAS, and has performance
improvements over the developers release of EJB runtime in the previous release. OAS
EJB has integrated JDeveloper support for code generation and deployment support. EJB
components are able to co-locate with language neutral object based components (ECO,
see next section) to have better integration with objects that do not support Javas
RMI semantics. Co-location enables groups of components that work together in an
application to be appropriately hosted to optimize performance.
