I had a similar problem awhile back but don't remember exactly what the
problem was.
Check your jar file again.
Could it be that the entry is "ejb-jar.xml", instead of
"META-INF/ejb-jar.xml" ?
You should ask this question on one of the weblogic newsgroups.
