All I can tell you it's that I changed my business methods transaction
attributes to TX_REQUIRED and It worked well. I don't know if there might be
an error in JDK1.1.7. It's pretty possible. Have you tried to use any other
transaction attribute with your business methods??.

only difference is I am using JDK1.1.7. My transition attribute is
TX_REQUIRED. Can u briefly explain what is the solution ?? Do we have to use
"commit" statement anywhere ?
