On WebLogic 5.1, the ser files have been replaced with xml files.
Considering the nature of your question, I think you'll be back
with more questions after this one. So, I suggest you run through
the ejb examples located at \weblogic\examples\ejb\basic\containerManaged
This has the additional benefit of checking out your installation.
