What I do to deploy EJB developed using JBuilder is run a command file that:

1. Compiles EJB *.java
2. Packages *.class, *.xml in one .JAR
3. Runs weblogic.ejbc ejb compiler on this .JAR creating bigger .JAR with
all weblogic-specific wrapper classes.

See example of such build.cmd file in Weblogic examples directory.

In other words, the only role for JBuilder in this is to check the syntax.

weblogic.ejbc checks also the compliance with EJB standard.
