If your only goal is to manage persistence and write less code then I'm sure
that Cocobase will suit your needs. So what can CMP do above BMP
implementations? The primary achievements of CMP are improved performance
and vendor-added enhancements. (These enhancements like auto PK generation
destroy portability).

Most vendors can achieve better performance (in memory management and
caching techniques) than their BMP counterparts.
