Hi Gene,
I have run into this guy (interface, instance?) many times and each time
explained to him why he is wrong and providing poor consultancy. The next
time I met this guy I still hear the same thing. My thinking is that he is a
Stateless. Since ejbPassivate is not relevant to stateless session beans the
only real option is to call is ejbRemove and hope that he is garbage
collected.

That seems a little harsh! Perhaps calling ejbPassivate will suffice...
