A factoid and question about concurrency:

For those that are wondering about concurrent transactions with Weblogic AS,
EJB method calls are serialized when using the built-in Weblogic RDBMS
container, but not when using other containers such as TOPLink or Versant
with the server.

If isolation is left to the database, how does the WebSphere container
provide isolation of EJB object state?
