My view is don't run the client on NT :))
Seriously, if you're using NT 4.0 with service pack 6 you should apply the
following hot fix
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q245/6/78.asp
or upgrade to NT 6a which I think also fixes the bug.
