You're going to have to run your own tests, as this depends greatly on the
environment that you are running within. Of course it is possible, but who
knows what kind of hardware you may have to throw at the problem.
One word of caution that may wrinkle some feathers here. EJB is a
transactional framework. It has not been designed for speed. Typically, you
will see much faster results by using plain CORBA components on the server.
