That is very true. Weblogic support, at level4 mind you, is basically their developers 
posting the question to one of
these mailing lists. I do agree that they have crappy tech support. When using it as a 
webserver (big mistake) we were
getting "too many files open:" exception. Did it ever get solved? Yes. By weblogic 
tech support? Of course not. I do
believe however, that the newsgroups on weblogic are valuable for basic questions, 
such as the multitudes of the ones
that come in here.

ok, but why are the questions asked in this mailing list and not in a BEA
