I have to write and deploy a component in my application server that
could generate unique ids. This component must be instantiated at startup by
reading some value from the database. The component will have a threshold
until which it can provide unique ids to its clients. Once when it reaches
its threshold it should refresh itself with values from the database.
Can I use work spaces for this. If not please advise what is the
best way to do this.
I do not want to use database triggers to generate my Ids.
