We have mapped to a view, however views cannot be inserted into so you are
stuck with read only beans and then having to implement something else for
writing. So your best bet is to use some kind of OR tool if your container
doesnt support multiple table beans.

As I understand it, you can map a bean to a database view in the same
way
that you can map it to a database table.  Thus,you could create a view
which
shows columns from two tables.  However, I've never tried this.... If
anyone

I tried this once and I think it is not possible in Weblogic.

You need to go for Bean Managed persistence
