This is an option that vendors are allowed to implement according to the spec.
When doing so, an EJBObject instance may have multiple EJB instances, one per
thread. This implementation assumes that the underlying database will enforce
single threaded access to a row. So the serialised access happens at the db end
provided the db supports it, or else hell breaks out.
