I had to deal with that server in a project. It's not my favorite product.
They have a quite good CORBA 2.3 compliant ORB, JBROKER, but a hell lot of
problems running on HP-UX so our client used another server. Silverstream
has its own awful IDE which nobody wanted to use and you have to do a lot of
workaround to get JBuilder somehow itegrated. The server does not pool bean
instances and worse, it does not provide command line interfaces for
deployment and management stuff (in the version we had). So you have to
start the slow GUI to redeploy your beans.
