if we use J2EE1.2.1 RI, in xxxClient.jar which is made by "deploytool",
we will find:
    a  _xxx_Stub.class
    b  _xxxHome_Stub.class
    c  xxx.class
    d  xxxBean.class
    e  xxxHome.class
    f   xxxPK.class
    ...

I think a and b are the "Stubs" mentioned in your email.
