Hi, Dave.
You assume that I have the collection at the EJB client. And what happens if
the query obtains ten thousand objects or even more? I'm interested in
scrolling the results at the server side, not at the client side, and for
example I want to have the chance of retrieving the results in smaller groups
than the whole query, that is, groups of 5, 10 or 20 objects each time in order
to not overload the wire communications.
I know that the most important application servers let you specify the number
of result objects you want to receive, but I want a generic solution.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
