I'm not sure why a MessageDriven Bean provider would be interested in using
temporary destinations. All you want is
- subscribe to a Queue/Topic
- specify the destination name
- say if you want to be durable (for a topic)
- say if you want to be transactional
What kind of destination (temporary or not) the container will create for you
is not really your concern. What matters is asynchronous delivery of message
to your bean, right?
Or can you point at a specific example that couldn't be implemented with
non-temporary queue? It's not too late yet :-)
