Hi,

We're using a setup with a presentation tier runnning JSP/TAG and an application
server doing the EJB stuff. Everytime a client hits the webpage/JSP, we run a number
of tags. Each of these tags might use EJB and therefore need an initialcontext to the
applicationserver. How is this problem thought solved in J2EE? Does the J2EE framework
provide pooling mechanisms for InitialContext objects? Is it necessary, i.e. are they
threadsafe? I find this subject uncovered by any literature I've come across, so any
input will be appreciated...

Best regards,
Mikkel Kliim
