Hai friends/respected, This a querry regarding the BEST development enviornment for J2EE = aplications. I am interested inknowing the ideal combination of hardware = & sortware in a professional enviornment. As an example(?) let me site = the situationin prevailing in our company for a web based prj (with = EJBs, JSP etc) Developer Side (development + Testing) Pentium 233 MHz, 128MB, 4.3GB Win NT 4 (SP 4) IBM Visual Age for Java Enterprise Edition 3.0 Server (production) Pentium III, 340MB, 15.3GB Win NT 4 (SP 5) IBM WebSphere 3.0 The problem that we r facing is that even with reasonably good = configuartion we r getting lots of trouble in developmet process due 2 = inadequate resources. For example, the Developer machine memory usage = goes upto 180MB @ times.=20 So i wud like 2 know the other alternatives for such a development = envonment.
