Cool ! "Your on your own on this one kid but it is theoretically possible", I like it ... It won't be for a while yet as I am still in the implementation phase but I will let the list know if I pull it off. If i can fish out the Servlet Engine stuff from Orion >(probably easy everything is split into Jar files) then can I configure >JBoss to run Orion's servlet Engine in the same VM as it's self... *LOL* Yeah, I guess it should be possible (the integration we did with Tomcat was quite straightforward and non-intrusive), but Karl (my buddy, yeah he lives almost next door, from Orion) would kill me for it ;-) We don't have any resources to do that integration, but if you're up for it you can look at how we integrated Tomcat and apply the same strategy on Orion. Could work actually, depending a bit on how the deployment process in Orion works (we need to get it to pick up an application classloader to make it really speedy). If you're satisfied with copying EJB call parameters (still damn fast if in-VM) then it is no problem at all (that I can think of). If you're interested in doing this, subscribe to the jboss-dev mailing, download our Tomcat integration from CVS, and see what you can do. Good luck! (And should you fail this we will naturally deny any knowledge of you or your mission..) regards, Rickard -- Rickard berg Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.telkel.com http://www.jboss.org http://www.dreambean.com =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
