Try setting the age to some positive number. The age is the number of
seconds the cookie should live. I believe the default is -1, causing the
cookie to be deleted when you exit the browser. A value of 0 deletes the
cookie immediately.
Try giving it a life of 3600 (1 hour) and see if it works:
myCookie.setMaxAge(3600);
