If the data/properties is small and you only change them between
deployments, you should put them in the EJB's environment naming context in
the deployment descriptors:
<env-entry>
<env-entry-name>Country</env-entry-name>
<env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type>
<env-entry-value>USA</env-entry-value>
</env-entry>
If the data is big and you intend to change the properties often, put it in
the database, a la entity beans.
