Do most EJB containers / app servers which provide pooled database
connections allow autocommit to be turned off on a connection which was
obtained from the pool? I am using JRun, which does not allow this. it
seems to me that this makes the pooled connections pretty useless if you
can't use transactions, do other app servers have the same restriction?
What about WebLogic?

Is this because I should be using transactions at the ejb level instead? I
am new to EJB's so any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.
