Hi, In search of products that truly deliver on the 'E' part of EJB, 24x7 and fault resilient, is there an appserver vendor who is or will deliver client side Stub's that provide an SLA feature that auto-reload balances and re-dispatches method calls that run too long? To detect all fault modes I believe this functionality must be built into the client side Stub and not in a middleware piece like Bluestone's UBB or Weblogic Enterprise's bulletin board where the LAN between the client and the middleware components can silently fail, thus orphaning the JRMP/IIOP socket read on the client.
