Are u getting ClassNotFoundException/SQLException, in the first case place
driver in the proper directory,
in the second check the property file

Subject: Not getting connection to mysql database from entityBean ???
dear members
I am working under linux environment.
currently i am using ejb with j2ee...
i want to connect to MySql database from entitybean.
when i am writing driver connection is setEntityContext() ... it is
giving error...
The following the code i wrote in entitycontext
class.forName(org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver);
driverManager.getConnection(...);
What shall I have to do to get connection from external database...???
Could any one help ... I am not getting this from past few days...!!!
