Hmm, what's an internal database anyway?
Anyway you can use JDBC. IF you want to do that with MySQL, then you can
pickup JDBC drivers from http://mysql.org/downloads/api-jdbc.html
Or use CMP - that's when you don't want to get your hands wet and prefer to
let the container do your laundry.
