Wang,
up if you have a servlet/jsp in 5.1 with some helper class (like JavaBeans)
(weblogic classpath or javaclasspath, it does not matter, but NOT in both),
changes to Servlet classes are refreshed, but not changes to the helper
class.
You need to restart the server to pick up any Bean changes rather than just
refreshing the browser.
In Weblogic 6, using WAR files it would redeploy the war file so you have
refreshing for helper classes...
Cheers,
Max

Servlet refresh is ok, but I have problem to refresh/reload regular classes
under weblogic class path in weblogic 5.1. It used to work in weblogic4.5.
Do you have any experience on that?

What do you mean "change the code"? Change EJB code or change JSP code? If
you mean EJB, then you got to re-hotdeploy ejb to see the change. If you
mean change JSP code, then make sure you set "pageCheckSeconds" to 0 or
greater in weblogic.properties.

i am using JSP at front ened and accessing the EJB's through it. Around
20-30 minutes after starting the weblogic server , it stops refreshing the
screen and gives the old results though i change the code. this is not a
problem of browser b'coz when i start the server again after deleting the
old jsp class file it starts giving the correct results. any body has the
solution?
