iPlanet comes with iPlanet Directory Server. The app server even uses it
for storing its own configuration.

Thanks for your reply. But Presently our requirement
is such that we have to use a directory service(not
only naming service) which implements LDAP. I know
that WLS has naming service, but it has its own
protocol ( " t3").

So can you or anyone help in this regard ? And at the
same time can anyone tell me whether iplanet server
has the LDap service built into it or not?
