Hi,
The EJB spec v2.0 can probably answer all your questions if you have the
patience to read it. I am learning it too. I got an eval copy of weblogic and if
you have the patience you can convert it into a full-fledged app server with
clustering, SSL and ejb deployment etc. enabled. It took me half hour to do
this.During this process you can plow through the source code too and probably
learn everything about EJB, JTA, JMS etc. JBoss sources will help too. Probably
the architecture pattern of EJB will help too. Similarly if you decompile all
the classes that the container generates you will know how weblogic honors the
container contract. In the process you can write your container also. You can
also learn how they have implemented the RMI patterns behing EJB. I know I have
to stop here.........
bye,
Mohan
