I am very sorry, u are approaching again normal transaction we do in
servelets/stand alone appln., in this case where is the question of
managing u transaction by container. This appraoch is works but, definately
is not at all a good solution. In the ejb forum itself, weblogic vendor
accepted there is a bug in 5.1, but recently they rectified it, contact the
weblogic customer support. If at all the bug is fixed u need not use the
con.autoCommit(false), con.commit() and in the case of failure
con.rollback(). If rectified appn server works fine UserTransaction is
sufficient.
