Oh we've been doing a lot of research, just like thousands of our customers, who
obviously disagree with a lot of your points (mostly the one that says that Entity
beans don't scale). I'm simply trying to decide if your posts are just awkward
trolls or genuine attempts at solving software problems that we are all facing.

I obviously have an interest in EJB, and though you might not believe it, it's as
much vested as personal. I am simply worried to see this fine mailing-list
receiving more and more opinions and less technical input, that's all. I actually
love to read people who disagree with me, but it has to be on technical grounds,
not on personal opinions.

The whole world recognizes MVC as a good idea. And then, nobody uses it. Yes,
even Sun, who perverted the original MVC model in Swing (noticed how M and C are
closely related?). Note that I tend to agree with this practical application.
The MVC is a fine theoretical model, but it doesn't fit real world problems, and
it needs to be adapted.

But I don't want to digress too much. I would very much like to see you defend
your alternative solutions with as much strength as you fight the EJB model. I'm
sure we will be able to engage in a very interesting argument this way. Please,
give this some thought.
