I was under the impression that 5.1 was certified, primarily because of
the press release from last August which announced that BEA was the
first independent company to earn J2EE certifcation, and at that time
6.0 wasn't available even as a public beta.  But, looking back at that
press release it never did mention what version had passed the
certification tests, so I imagine it must have been the
still-in-development 6.0 that passed.  Flashline.com's App Server Matrix
also lists 5.1 as J2EE-certified, but perhaps that is in error?
